Jack wasn't exactly sure what had happened since the crash. All he remembered was hitting his head and then waking up to find the ship completely quiet. And that everything hurt. 'I guess it didn't help i practically asked to be beat up by that pretty boy Marine.' Jack thought glancing at his clothes, his hoody was ripped up and there were still bruises and scratches from that fight.
Hearing footsteps he finally sighed. "Oh gee, i can't wait to find out who has come to bother me today.'

Proteus did not answer as he stepped inside the room, his hands still behind his back. He had been frustratingly peeking on information and interrogating everyone in his way, but his informations seemed to be disappointing. It was, at the very least, very frustrating to him. Still, he never let his emotions show, and today would not be the case for an exception.
Looking at Frost from the corner of his eyes with disdain, Proteus kept walking around to observe if anything was going according to plan.

"Hey," Jack called out. "Did something happen up there or something?" his blue eyes narrowed a bit. All he wanted was a few answers. Anything would do. Of course it was unlikely he would get an answer.

Proteus glanced at the prisoner for a few seconds, moving his head as he inspected Frost with curiosity. The boy seemed human, but there were abnormal features in him, such as his white hair. The cold aura emanated from him also signaled he was more than what he seemed. Shrugging, Proteus came closer to him and merely nodded before staring at the exit of the room.

"Well, clear to enlighten me what happened?" Jack asked with a raised eyebrow. "Cuz i am horrible at guessing games." he replied crossing his arms, flinching a bit, as his arms were still sore from several things. Did he really deserve such treatment

Proteus rolled his eyes at the insistence of the boy, wishing he could teach him some manners, had his captain given him authorization to physically discipline the inmates. He disliked being adress in such a disrespectful and inpolite tone.
"We crash landed. A result of a troublesome pirate attack. We should resume our activities soon enough."

Ha! about time they got what they deserve. Jack thought before noticing the eye roll. The smirk increased. "Oh. Is the damage that bad?" he asked. "No one got hurt did they?" he might not have liked the marines but he did care if people got hurt.

"No casualties. Perhaps some wounded men, but we have medics for that particular task." the Inspector said with apathy, his expression still as strict and cold as when he had entered the brig. The sighting of the boy did not manage to faze him at all, as he simply kept staring at him, slightly surprised by his concern for the crew members that had inprisoned him.

"That's good i guess." Jack replied finally deciding to meet the mans' eyes, it was sort of hard to see him due to one eye being swollen shut but he managed to get a good look at him. He hated being in here, it was unnerving.

"What have you done, boy?" Proteus asked with a stern expression, still not displaying any particular emotion, but slightly interested in what the young kid standing before him could have to tell. For someone to be trapped by this crew, he had to have done something big. All that was left to know was...what?

Jack hestitated, he didn't want to get involved with talking to a marine. "What did i do? I stole something." he replied. "Tried to steal something rather." he shrugged. He had been doing it since he was fourteen, it had been the only way to really survive.

Proteus's entire curiosity in the boy faded away as soon as he heard his response. His apathetic face changed into one of contempt and disgust as he sneered at him, turning around and beggining to walk to the exit.
"Yet another sewer rat falls into its own trap. How utterly disappointing. I though trash like you was executed in sight." he said coldly, walking away, but notyet leaving.

"SHUT UP!" Jack growled through gritted teeth. "I am not trash!" the temperature in the room dropped a bit. "And i am not a rat." he snapped. "But then again what would i know. I'm not a stuck up marine."

"That would affect me if I was a normal marine, and yet I am not. Your words mean little to nothing to me, young boy." Proteus said calmly, ignoring the cold temperature around him, as if he was used to it. "I happen to have the upper hand on you. I work for freedom. You gave it away. Who is to blame here but you?"
