The ruins... wasn't exactly what Akima ahd been expecting. When the kid had mentioned it, she ahd thoguth to be some old, small place with nothign but rocks around. THe place did have rocks, sure, but in the form of a once giant city. It was enormous, and impossibel to see where the city ended. The ruins just kept on going towards the horizon, not shpwing any sign of and end to it. And the old buldings, some looked to reach up higher than the sky. Well, the captain thought contet to hersef as she jumped down from a fallen old tower. "I'm happily dissapointed."
Loki couldn't belive it. He was actully there, in the place where all the villagers had een even afraid to mention. Cyrene. The dead city. Said to eb haunted by some sort fo shaodw creatuers. But not even eh knew much about the place.... The few who ahd been brave (and stupid) enough, to explore the place, never returned the same, or even at all. The very few who did, died a day or so later. His brothers hadn't even been that lucky. Just gotten killed and forgotten, like the rest. He sighend, calming donw his nerves. He was scared....but also so very, very excited. Finally, a chance to learn something. The at least he could die with some pride.

[Sorry for the late post, Ami >< Much going on at home, but now I'm back for some action hahaha) Once the group finally arrived to the ruins, Jim began to feel a little nervous - and excited about it all. He took up his gun and loaded it so that he would be ready if something showed up. When no one was talking, a scary silence flew through the place. It was a tension in the air, that was for sure. "I can't see any Marines, Captain.. Are you sure that it was be here they should be?" He asked Akima with a little frown as he continued to look around. Aladdin stood on the same fallen tower that Akima had been on, but didn't jumped down when she did. Instead he just stood there, quiet- and with his sword laying on his shoulder as he glanced over the area. Many thoughts went through his mind, but he still kept a blank expression on his face..

[That's totally fine, you're back now<3333 ] Akima chuckledat Jim, still not bothering to take out her gun. "I'm not really here for the marines Jimbo," she said simply as she walked past the two teens, messing uo Jim's hair. "What do you think Ali?" she asked overher shoulder. "Think this place will satisy you for now?" Loki snorted to himself as he half payed attention to the pirates. He doubted any of the mariens where even still around, if even alive. He sort fo hoped they were though, that ment bigger chance for them to survie. Hopefully. Catching something shimmering between and under some heavy rocks, he walked towards it wordlessly. "Make sure the kid doens't egt himself killed," Akima toled Jim, seeign their gudie from the corner of her eye before walking the opposite direction.

Jim frowned slightly confused by Akima's comment, and wondered why she was here then. Was it just for the monsters? Wasn't meeting and killing the Marines a priority for her at the moment? But before he came up with a final answer, Akima reminded him about the younger teen- and Jim quickly followed him. "What are you doing?" He asked, even more confused now when Loki didn't said a word. "Have you seen something?"
"Maybe.." Al said shortly for an answer to his Captains question. It was a huge place, and therefor a huge chance that some action would come. But it was quiet-- too quiet. Himself liked to do sneakattacks, but he never liked it when it happened to him.. "How about you?.. Have you seen something interesting yet?" He asked and turned around to look at the woman.

Loki lifted a hand at Jim, gesturing to be quiet as he knelt down and started to dig and try to lift over the heavy rocks. He hissed under his breath as he cut himself, but kept on without stoppin until he dug out a small note book with a small silver pendant attached to it. He stared both pleased and shocked as he slowly lifted it up, slowly letting a hopefull smile start to grow.
"No... No not yet," Akima replied to her crew mate, sighing to herself and looked to be waiting for anything to happen. Gazing over at the the two teens, she straightend up, smirking as the gudie seem to have found something. A sudden cry echoed through out the ruins, shortly followed by what felt like an earthquake, making the captain almsot stumble ove rher own feet. Loki's head jerked up in alarm, and hurridely tried to stand up, while avoiding the falling rocks.

Jim quickly went silent and just studied the guide as he began to dig in the ground. Sometimes he looked up to check how the situation looked like, but when it was like before - he turned his gaze back at Loki. "What is it?" He asked quietly as he leaned down closer to the younger teen to look at the noot book. But it was shortly followed by a cry, and Jim stood up fast again and had one hand on his gun - and the other one on Loki's shoulder in case he had to push him away from the falling rocks.
As soon Aladdin heard the cry, all his muscles tightened and he tried to find with his gaze where the sound came from - but failed. The echo made it difficult for him.. but as soon everything began to shake, he automatically jumped down from the ruins and placed himself next to Akima. He forced himself not to "protect" her, but he had his sword in attack-position in case something would show up. "What was that?" Al asked with a frown and didn't know really where he should look.

"Good question," she murmured andstraightend up, gun in hand just in case while searching for whatever that cry might have been. As the ground stopped shaking, she smirked and turned t look over at other too, secretly relived when Jim still seemed to be alright. "Feel like explaining that one, lite man?"
Loki clutched the book to his chest, letting otu a breath he did't know he was holding as everything stopped moving. Pulling himself up, he half stood behind Jim as the captain demanded an explination. "...i'm not sure what it was..." he mumbled, frowing to himself. "But we should keep on moving..."

Aladdin took a step away from Akima as the shaking stopped, but he still had his eyes open for whatever did that sound. It wouldn't just go away - that was for sure. "Should keep on moving where?" Al asked with a little dark smirk. "We don't even know where the sound came from.. Maybe we're walking directly towards it.." He said, and his face was back to completely blank. "Not that I mind, but still.."
Jim frowned at Al's comments before he looked around - maybe the man was right.. the echo made it impossible to know where it came from, so it could be anywhere. "What did you find?" He asked quietly once again to the younger teen. "Maybe it can help us..?!"

"So, further in it is. Don't start crying when we get lost~"Akima sang happily, and started to walk deeper in maze of old buldings, determinded to find whatever it had been to cause the sound. 'When we get lost?' THe crazy captain actually wants that? Loki thought unamused to himself. Glanzing up at Jim, he hid the book under his cout, looking very uncertain and hesitated before answearing. "Something from the last fools to come here," he mumbled, glarign at the ground. "So... yeah, hopefully it could...."

Aladdin wasn't far behind Akima and quickly went up beside her as he glanced around the place. "Well, this was a good start" He said with a little smirk and nudged Akima on the side before he went back to his serious acting.
Jim glanced down at Loki with a little uncertain frown, before he began to walk the direction Akima and Aladdin went. At the moment, he didn't want to lose them.. "Is something written down in it?" He asked, and still quiet so that the two older pirates wouldn't hear them. "You have to tell me if it does.."

She chuckled, and playfully punched Al on his arm as they walked, once in a while castign a glance behidn them to see if the 'kids' still were around.
Loki slowly caught up with Jim, but kept a small distance from him as well. "I still need to figure otu how to open it...." he mumbled, annoyed, that the little book ust ahd to have a lock. Typical of his brothers... It almsot felt like they did this just in case he woudl stumble across it, and keep more knowledge away from him. Like always.

"Can't you just break the lock or something? I can shoot on it?!" Jim said with a little playfull smile, but raised an eyebrow questioning at the same time to show that he actually meant it. "And why does peoeple have lock's on notebooks? It's not like it is a diary or something." he sighed as he kept on walking.
"Why doesn't the one who made that cry come out?" Al said with a bored tone in his voice. Whatever it was really teased him at the moment. "Maybe it's afraid that we will kick it's butt..." he shrugged with a little smile on his lips. "But how can we even find any people here? It's huge....?!"

At im's suggestion, Loki shot him aglare, that cleary said 'NO', and slowed down his pace some more, falling behind.
"Well...." Akima sighend, havin crouched down infront of a fallen tower, poking at something amused. "Does dead people count for you?" she asked with smirk, titling her head as she stuided the bones infron of her. "Wow... whatever these thigns are, they sure don't leave left overs."

Jim chuckled slightly at Loki's glare, and raised his both hands in the air slightly to show that he was backing out of the idea. he kept on going, but when he looked back at the teen who walked slowly - he started to frown again. "Hey, what's wrong?" He asked and tilted his head a little to the side
Aladdin crouched down beside Akima and raised an eyebrow at the remainings. "Hmm.. But we can't know if they were killed by that .." he shrugged blankly as he stood up again to begin to look for more bones. "They could've died from boredom.." Al said and smiled playfully back at Akima. "How old do you think the bones are?.. Pretty old, or new?"

Akima just kept on studying the remins with interest, looking around for anything else that may have once been a whole body. No trace of blood whatsoever... so they've could've just died of boredom for all they know, like Al said. She looked over ehr shoulder, seeign the sun was abotu to set and failed to see the shadow reaching towards her. She stood up, just before the dark would've touched her feet, and walked over to Aladdin. "They didn't look that old, but I'm no expert," she shrugged.
Loki didnt' reply to Jim, ust focuesd on staring at the ground. Looking up, he gulped as he watched the sun go down over the horizon. "Um, I wouldn't recomend to keep going further after the dark..."
