Garrett walked into the sleeping area and laid Jasmine on her bed. He kneeled next to it and sighed, hoping she would wake up soon.

The door opened carefully, only to be followed by heavy and loud steps inside the room.
"So..." the captain began as she joined Garrett at his side, arms crossed over her chest and face neutral. "The sex-object got her ass kicked," she said bluntly as she took in Jasmine's form. "And the cold, metal eyes stepped in and rescued her. I'm proud, you're making progress," she said flatly and patted him on the head. "Don't you worry Garrett, Jas is tough, she'll wake up in no time and be back to seducing everyone in the crew. Gotta admit, it's been a while sicne she got this badly beaten up," she murmued and crouched down, poking the tanned girls cheek softly.

Garrett turned when Akima walked in, almost relieved to have her there. He sighed at her words, "Akima, this is serious" he said slowly "the man who hurt her... He injected her with something... and talked about... eating her" he said, shaking his head. "Kim..." he said slowly, looking at her very seriously "I thought she wasn't going to make it" he said with a sigh, turning back to Jasmine.

"Ah... so human-eater, not the firts one we run into," she pointed out, thinking it was soem other species, and examing Jas wounds and where she was injected. "Nothing our Ed cna't fix,a nd if not, our new little guide told em the plants on this planet can heal anythign, as logn as you don't take too much, or else Jas might turn into a dude. I wouldn't midn that really..." she smirked at the thought.
Hearing the worry in hsi voice, she turned he head and looked at him. Well that was abotu time, she thgoutb to ehrself, happy that he seemed to be letting some part fo his past go and wlak forward instead.
"So have you two maked out yet?"

That was about the time Jasmine chose to slowly come too, "Oh...god Akima, really?" She asked as she opened her eyes to look at her angrily.

Garrett rolled his eyes "Akima... no" he said uncomfortably. He turned quickly when he heard Jasmine "hey..." he said, a smile growing on his face "are you feeling ok?" he asked with concern

Akima smiled down innocently at as Jasmine woke up. "Oh don't worry, I'd give you a chance like this as well, gender has never been a problem for me and-oooh... you haven't make out yet?" she frowned dissapointed, and when Garrett was busy showing care and concern for Jas she smacked him on the head. "Do I have to do everythign for you?" she gave him a dissaproving frown. "'Cause you know damn well i will. And that never ends pretty. For you."

Jasmine smiled at Garrett, "Yeah I'm feeling much better, I've got a killer headache but I'll be ok." She said softly and then frowned at Akima, "What are you talking about now Akima?' She asked with a raised eyebrow.

"That's great!" Garrett smiled at Jasmine, completely relieved. "Do you-" he started, but was cut off when Akima smacked him. "Hey!" he said, rubbing his head and turning to Akima. His eyes widened "no no no, you do NOT need to get involved" he said with a small laugh "please" he raised an eyebrow

She just gave him one of her hard looks, the one that said he was in deep trouble already and would be in deeper if he doesn't 'man up'. And this time she wa sbeign serious, wich was pretty odd.
"Apparently I do. Geez, i swear i feel like everyone's moma most of the time," she sighend overdramatically. She eyed Jas with the smae look. "And here I thoguth you were smarter than that. What kind of pirates are you?!" she scolwed them. 2We take what we wnat, WHEN WE WANT! And dont act like you have no idea what i'm tlaking about," she threatend with a sweet smile.

Jasmine for once was starting to get really red, "Ahh." She said quietly feeling very put on the spot even as she smiled at Garrett.

Garrett stared at Akima in disbelief "is it... really the best time for this?" he asked with an embarrassed laugh, his eyes flickering to Jasmine. Did he think of her that way? He was terrified at the thought of loosing her today... But... he hadn't looked at anyone in that way in years. He smiled back at her, his mind racing.

She rolled her eyes. "It's as good a time as any," she said matetr of factly before pushign herself up. "And if none of you make move soon, well, I'll just turn one of you into my personal slave like Jimbo," she smiled birhgtly. "...in fact that isn't such a bad idea~" she giggled while leavind the room.

He rolled his eyes as Akima left the room, feeling more confused than anything. He smiled back at Jasmine "don't mention it" he said softly, placing his hand on hers. "Now... you should get some rest" he said gently.
