Name: Anya
Age: 19
Crew: Pirates
Occupation: Soldier (of a sort)
History: Anya was born directly on a pirate ship, and her mother died giving birth to her. Her father was always a mystery and everyone assumed he had been from a different crew. Anya grew up with the pirates, although Akima was reluctant to keep her, most of the crew had a soft spot for the little red-head and defended her. The captain was later satisfied with her decision to keep her when Anya showed a swiftness in fighting usually non-existant as a child. Although Anya was trained to shoot to kill, she remained sweet and caring to her fellow pirates. She had a best friend named Samuel, whom was very reckless and strongwilled. When they were fifteen they both boarded a marine boat and looted it. She wasn’t paying attention and a marine tackled Sam, slamming his head against the side of the ship. Sam passed out and the other pirates helped the two of them off the ship. Sam never woke up, and Anya didn’t speak for weeks. Then, two years later, one of the new pirates tried to throw him over the side of the ship and Anya slit the man’s throat. She defends Sam’s body with her life, useless as it is, since it’s clear he’ll never wake up. After crashing on Messaline, Anya is looking forward to the impending battle, as she has yet to quench her thirst for revenge on the marines.
Personality: Anya is very emotional and is often depressed, but only when no one is around. She is still the same kindhearted person beneath her hard mask of blunt seriousness, but lacks the strength to try to connect with people or care for anyone after her friend's accident. If you really force her to open up, she can be the nicest girl you've ever met. She often teases people and can be very strubborn.
