Dimitri grasped his cup tightly, silently cheering along with the rest of the crew. Most stood on tables, shouting and singing drunken songs that made no sense. Usually he'd be up there with them, keeping them from falling or reminding them of the lyrics. Instead he was in the back of the crowd, barley even swaying. He eventually turned his back, making his way to a window and looking out it. The planet they'd taken wasn't very appealing. The people were poor and the land was anything but luxurious. But for a group of pirates; It was a treasure trove. He hesitantly took a sip of the bitter alcohol, groaning to himself.

"I win! Again, now strip~" Akima said triumphantly as she laid dow ehr card on the table, winking teasingly at the guy at other end of the table. Alot of whistle were heard, mostly from the girls of the crew, as the man just sighend and started to tka eoff his cloths. He'll be to drunk to remember his 98th lose agaisnt their captian soon anyway.
Smiling micheviously at him, she pushed herslef off the tbale, grabbing someone else's bottle and moved to the less crowed place. she spotted the usually more cheering crewmember in the cornern and casually made her wya over to him.
"You're obviously not drunk, so what's your problem?" she asked smiling as she sat down beside him, empetying the bottle in one go. "Lose a bet?"

"Is it mandatory to be drunk?" He spoke, trying his best to pass it off as a joke. He sucked in a breath before spinning around, leaning his back against the wall. His eyes flickered around nervously, and his ears picked up random bits and pieces of drunken conversations from around the room. "What if I don't want to drink tonight?" He asked, placing his still full cup on the table next to him. "I'm not in the mood for it." He forced himself to crack a smile, though it was obviously strained.

She raised an eyebrow, her expression cealry showing she thought he was sick or soemthing.
"I'm your captain not your moma," she rolled her eyes. "If you don't wanna get drunk then, simply don't," she shrugged and took his cup for herself. "So what's bothering you this time?"

"It's nothing." He said shortly, squinting his eyes. He wasn't sure why but he was compelled to change the subject. The last thing he needed was his captain getting suspicious and angry with him. She was known for her temper. He gave a half smile, almost out of disappointment and turned away again, taking a few steps. He didn't go too far, he wouldn't dare walk away from her, especially when she was drunk.

She stuided him closely, and frowned when eh turned away from her. Sure she's ahd alot to drink, but unlike those amatuers, it would take alot more than that to get her drunk.
"If you don't want me to get suspicious, you already failed at that," she stated and walked up beside him, giving him a teasing grin. "Come on Dim, what's wrong?"

"Nothing." He repeated, stressing the word. He squinted in the direction of the rest of the crew, watching in angst as they jumped and cheered about stripping innocent people of their homes. He let his eyes wander until they found her again. He then groaned and shut them.

Her grin feel, and was replaced wiht oneher usual blank stares. The one when she would have before she got either dissapointed or mad at her crewmembers.
"You're such a bad liar," she sighend and teared her eyes away from him.

"And why, My dear Captain, do you think that i'm lying?" He turned to her quickly, letting his eyebrows move in a way that made him look like he was glaring. Sure he was lying. That didn't mean he was willing to admit it.

She rolled her eyes, but kept her gaze locked on the drunk and celebrating crew. "There's why I'm the captain Dimitri," she answeard in a cold voice.
Leaning back agains the wall ebhind them, arms crossed over her chest she let her gaze wander back to him, unfazed by his expression. "You don't have to tell me what's wrong."

Cheekily, Dimitri allowed himself to crack a half smile. "But you want me to...don't you?" He spoke teasingly. "You want to know very badly."

Unusaly for her, she didn't smile this time, just agve him a blank stare. For once she didn't wnat to know, beacuse she worried what it might be. But she pretended not to know, she didn't even wnat to guess.
"You need alcohol, badly," she said instead, snacthign anouther bottle from a drunk crew member and offerd it to him. "Drinks on me," she smiled.

With a slight roll of his eye, Dimitri took the bottle from her, taking a large sip from hit. He winced feeling it burn down his throat. "Thats strong." He muttered with a rasp. "So captain. What are you planning on doing now? Drinking our lives away?"

"Well firslty, I'm gonna get you drunk so you can enjoy the night like the rest of us," she said matter of factly, giving him one of her typicall grin that meant hell would soon break lose.
"And second..." seh trailed off for a moment, before leaning her head casually against his shoulder. "...just enjoy the time I have with you guys."

"Thank you but I think i've had enough to drink, tonight." He said gladly accepting her positon on his shoulder. "But dont let me drag you down...g-go have fun with 'em." He said with a slight grin.
